About
LabGremlin publishes practical, evidence-led guidance for building and operating home labs. The goal is simple: help readers choose reliable hardware, understand the tradeoffs, and avoid paying twice for the same lesson.
What we cover
Our work focuses on mini PCs and servers, virtualization and containers, storage and backup, networking, and the day-to-day operation of a useful home lab.
How we work
We separate manufacturer claims, documented specifications, research, hands-on observations, and editorial recommendations. When an article is based on published specifications rather than direct testing, we say so. When we perform testing, we describe the hardware, configuration, method, and important limitations so readers can judge the results.
Articles are reviewed before publication and updated when products, software, documentation, or our conclusions materially change. Errors are corrected transparently.
How LabGremlin is funded
LabGremlin may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links. Affiliate relationships do not determine which products we cover or the conclusions we publish. Readers do not pay more because they use an affiliate link. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy for details.
